FHIRstation, was developed in conjunction with data exchange experts Iron Bridge in response to the HHS Final Rule and CMS interoperability 21st Century Cures Act and ONC and CMS Interoperability Final Rule 2020.  These regulatory guidelines require electronic health record (EHR) vendors, health plans, hospitals, and providers to provide patient data through a United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) v1 FHIR v4 API and Electronic Health Information Export by January 1, 2021.
